Awake icon

Awake

Keeps your Mac from falling asleep.

Menu bar utility · Requires macOS 13 or later

What it does

A coffee cup in your menu bar that keeps your Mac from dozing off when you need it running.

One-glance status

The menu bar cup fills in when sleep prevention is active and sits empty when it's off — no need to open anything to check.

Manual toggle

Turn Stay Awake on or off with a click whenever you need it, independent of any schedule.

Weekly schedule

Set it active automatically across chosen days and hours — weekdays 9 to 6 by default, fully configurable.

Display options

Choose whether the screen dims behind a custom dark overlay or the display turns off entirely after inactivity.

Move mouse to stay awake

An optional mode nudges the cursor every minute to simulate activity, for the stubborn cases that need it.

Launch at login

Starts automatically when you log in, enabled by default, so it's already watching before you need it.
