Strawberry icon

Strawberry

Plug in a card, and your footage is already organized.

Menu bar utility · For photographers & videographers

What it does

Watches for cameras and cards so you don't have to import anything by hand.

Detects cards automatically

Watches for USB and SD card volumes as they mount, and looks for a DCIM folder to work with.

Organizes by date

Sorts photos and videos into Year/Month-Day folders based on each file's creation date, no manual renaming.

Auto-sync on mount

Once configured, Strawberry rsyncs the organized footage straight to your chosen destination folder the moment a card is inserted.

Run on any drive, anytime

Don't want to wait for auto-sync? Trigger "Run on Drive" from the menu bar for any mounted volume, or organize every connected volume at once.

Transfer log window

A live, scrollable log of every file rsync touches, so you always know exactly what moved and where.

Stays out of the way

Runs as a menu bar-only app with an animated icon while syncing — no dock icon, no extra windows until you ask for one.

How syncing works

1. Insert card
Strawberry detects the mounted volume and its DCIM folder
2. Organize
Files are sorted into Year/Month-Day folders by creation date
3. Sync
